Something feels off.

And you cannot explain it to anyone.

You are respected. You deliver. You are the one people count on. And you are exhausted in a way that has no clean name. Not burned out. Not broken. Just maxed out. Running on empty. Doing everything right and feeling it less and less.

SoulFIRE Leadership book cover by Amanda L. Christian — deep plum background with gold title typography and a dual flame logo in purple and gold — leadership book for high-achieving women in male dominated work places

A Note From Jack Canfield

"Amanda L. Christian has written the book I wish every woman in leadership had read twenty years ago. SoulFIRE Leadership doesn't just diagnose why talented women burn out in male-dominated industries; it provides a practical, field-tested framework for leading authentically without sacrificing success.

If you're exhausted from performing a version of leadership that was never designed for you, this book shows you the way home to yourself.”

Jack Canfield, Co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul ® series and author of The Success Principles™

DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

You would never say this out loud at work. But you have thought it.

  • "I keep taking on more, and I am not going anywhere."
  • "I used to feel sharp. Now I second-guess everything."
  • "I am stressed out and I do not even know why anymore."
  • "I am doing everything right. So why does this feel wrong?"
  • "I cannot keep doing this like this."
  • "I snapped at someone I love. Then felt guilty about it all night."

This is not a productivity problem. It is not a mindset problem.

It is not a you problem.

This is what happens when a high-performing woman has spent years translating her authentic intelligence into formats the system will accept. The exhaustion is not weakness. It is your system rejecting a design that was never built for you.

Amanda L. Christian, author of SoulFIRE Leadership, long dark hair, glasses, wearing a red ruffled sleeve blouse, leaning casually against a light gray wall, executive coach and leadership strategist for high achieving women in male dominated workplaces.

Amanda L. Christian did not study this from the outside. She lived it for 33 years.

She started as the only woman in the automotive section at Sears. She moved into banking as a stepping stone and stayed for three decades, building technology infrastructures, leading teams across multiple states and countries, and saving companies millions with insights that were later credited to someone else.

They never tell you the

glass ceiling has a trap door.

She reached two levels below CEO. Then the mergers came. The new leadership that did not know her name but had no problem dismantling her work.

In 2021, she conducted a post-mortem. Except that the project was her career. Her life. Her soul. SoulFIRE Leadership is what she found in that excavation.

WHAT THE BOOK GIVES YOU

Not motivation. Not tips.
A reframe that changes what you think the problem is.
  • A name for the exhaustion you have been carrying, one that finally makes sense of why nothing you have tried has fixed it
  • Proof that what has been called your weakness is actually your most sophisticated leadership intelligence, systematically misread
  • The ability to identify your Leadership Pattern and understand exactly what it has been costing you to suppress it
  • A framework for making decisions from alignment instead of from the performance your environment demands
  • The language to stop apologizing for how you lead and start using it as the strategic advantage it actually is
  • An answer to the question you have been afraid to ask: why does doing everything right still feel like this

This book does not ask you to work harder, fix yourself, or be more resilient. It changes the diagnosis.

What comes after that is clarity.

Read the opening chapters first.

The Introduction and Chapter 1 are available now. They are not designed to motivate or persuade. They are designed to help you recognize whether this perspective reflects your lived experience in leadership and whether this book is worth your time.
